About Our Therapist
I love working with clients of all ages, but particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. Any client looking to vent, process difficult emotions or diagnoses, find coping methods, deal with life stressors, find support for self-harm and suicidal thoughts, or manage goals is in the right place! Those who are part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community are safe in this space.
I am most experienced in academic and behavioral intervention; coping skills for depression and anxiety; crisis management; self-harm and suicidal ideation; substance use; and providing LGBTQIA2S+ affirming services. I also have experience with couples and family counseling. I use a combination of CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and a strengths based approach to help clients set and reach their own goals.
We can meet online, or at your favorite coffee, shop, park, or library...wherever you feel most comfortable (depending on insurance coverage requirements)! Through my experience, I have come to find a balance of connection building and therapeutic approaches that will help me support you in your goals for therapy. First session free!
